Meeting Leonardo DiCaprio sounds like a dream come true for most of us. Why wouldn’t you want to be in the presence of greatness? Well, Winter House star Jordan Emanuel got lucky enough to share space with Leo, but she wasn’t impressed.
During a chat with Page Six, Jordan dished about her former life working in New York City nightlife, and she revealed that she encountered Leo several times. However, she said that meeting the Oscar winner wasn’t nearly as dreamy as we would have imagined.
Not like the movies
Before becoming a reality star on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard, Jordan worked in New York City nightlife scene as a waitress. Over the years, she said she served Leo “several times.” She had positive things to say about his personality but straight-up dragged him for his fashion sense.
Jordan shared, “He dresses like he smells, and I’m like, this is crazy!”
Of course, we’ve all seen Leo looking a little questionable in some paparazzi pictures. You’d think he’d get cleaned up for a night out on the town, but apparently, that’s not the case.
Recalling a particularly heinous outfit, Jordan said, “OK so, socks like mine but not cute, like white tennis socks, you know what I mean, very old dirty sneakers, cargo shorts cream, white baggy T-shirt, and a baseball hat.”
On Winter House, Jordan has curved the romantic advances of several of her roommates. Someone asked Jordan if Leo would have gotten the same treatment. She replied, “Immediately.”
Jordan didn’t say specifically where she used to serve Leo, but it was probably Socialista Cipriani. She used to work there, it’s a hotspot for the NYC elite, and Leo has been known to frequent the space. So, if you find yourself at Cipriani, keep your eyes out for the dirtiest-looking guy in the room. He might be an Oscar winner.
