Gizelle Bryant Reveals What She Really Thinks About Her Tagline

The Real Housewives of Potomac OG Gizelle Bryant has been one of the show’s longest-running cast members, mainly due to her messy personality and ability to create conflict. However, no matter how much it may get her in trouble, she wouldn’t change a thing.

“I’ve done everything that I’ve said I was going to do: stay true to myself, don’t take anything too seriously — which I don’t do — and just have fun with it,” she told Us Weekly. “Sometimes, you might lose sight of having fun with it. And this season, for me, this year, I was just back into the fun, which I appreciated.”

Gizelle loves her RHOP Season 8 tagline

Something else Gizelle found fun during this season is her tagline: “I’m no angel. But gimme some grace, and you’ll learn to adore me,” which references her three daughters.

“All of my [other] taglines I’ve hated, that they’ve given me,” Gizelle continued. “‘Word on the street’ I made up, and I kept it for so long because everything else they were giving me sucked.”

Some Real Housewives expect taglines they may not love, but Gizelle was blown away when the network presented her with this year’s option.

“They read that tagline to me, and I was in shock. I was like, ‘This is amazing,’” she said. “I feel like I’m going to keep it forever.”

Even though Gizelle loved her tagline, her daughters weren’t big fans initially. “I told them, and they were not even excited,” Gizelle said. “They were like, ‘Are people going to realize those are our names?’ and I was like, ‘I think, yeah, definitely.’”

This season for Gizelle is quite different. As she prepares to send her oldest daughter off to college, she’s also showcasing her new love life with Winter House star Jason Cameron. On top of that, she’s dealing with her rocky relationship with some of the other ladies, namely Candiace Bassett and Wendy Osefo.
