Dancing with the Stars Season 32 had some of the most reality TV representation we’ve ever seen from the competition series. Among the reality giants were Ariana Madix and Mauricio Umansky, two of the most talked-about people of 2023.
While Mauricio and Ariana competed together, she was one of two reality TV stars to make it to the final five. Ari also ended up walking away with third place in the competition overall. Not too shabby for a girl who always dreamed of being on the show.
With Ariana and Mauricio on two of Bravo’s most popular shows – Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills respectively – it would only make sense for them to interact. So, what was their relationship like?
Ariana Madix’s hopes for Kyle and Mauricio
On the December 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live, a pair of fans called in to ask if Ariana had developed a relationship with Mauricio while on DWTS, also asking if she saw him interact with his former castmate Lisa Vanderpump during the finale. “I didn’t see him and LVP interact at the finale,” Ariana revealed. “They may have,” she said, but she was too busy to notice.
“But he’s been super, super sweet,” she went on. “I did develop a friendship with him during Dancing with the Stars, and I thought he was just a real nice person. Like, just very supportive and very kind.” Andy Cohen then asked if Ariana knew Kyle Richards, Mauricio’s wife. “Thereabouts, yeah,” Ariana said. “She’s always been super nice … as well.”
She continued, “I hope that they, I don’t know – something about me just wants them to …” Andy finished her thought: “Get back together?” Ariana agreed. They went on to briefly discuss that the family members still seemed amicable toward each other, and at the very least, that was a good thing.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues Wednesday at 8/7c while Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo on January 30, 2024.
