Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky caught the world by surprise when they announced their separation. Or did they? On the latest season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it looks like the writing was on the wall.
Kyle’s castmates, Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais publicly questioned Kyle about what’s going on in her marriage. And despite Kyle spending years on the show airing out everyone else’s personal business, she worked hard to stay mum about the state of her union.
What she didn’t do was try and hide her budding relationship with country singer Morgan Wade. While the two have been out and about doing pap walks for months now, recent episodes of RHOBH showcase Kyle and Morgan’s “friendship.”
Kyle gets a dose of her own medicine
It looks like Kyle is trying to remain unbothered by the rumors surrounding the women and in the latest RHOBH episode teaser, she even jokes about it. Us Weekly breaks down the details.
In the clip, Kyle FaceTimes Morgan to chat about an upcoming party. “I’m not looking forward to tonight at Sutton’s event,” Kyle tells her. She goes on to explain, “We had this huge fight the other night. She and Garcelle kind of both thought that because I had this ring on [that] they’d never seen before, that Mo gave it to me because he cheated on me. [They thought] it was a makeup gift.”
Morgan responds with a very obvious note that people speculate about Kyle’s personal life no matter what. Which Morgan seems to find “very interesting.” Has Morgan even watched the show? I’m guessing not.
A laughing matter
As the teaser goes on, Kyle makes a joke about a new necklace she plans on wearing to the party. “I’m wearing this tonight. So, who knows what rumor this would start? I mean, maybe [Mauricio] has a whole other family in another country. Maybe I do! Who knows?” she laughed.
After meeting in February of last year, Kyle and Morgan have formed some kind of bond, which is something that Kyle doesn’t get from her castmates.
In a confessional, Kyle revealed, “My relationship with Morgan is very different than my relationship with my other friends because she is constantly teasing me. I know that when Morgan and I hang out, I’m going to be roasted.”
