I think we can all agree Luann de Lesseps is a legend in the Bravo world. She’s an OG from Real Housewives of New York, a current maven of the cabaret world, and still one of Andy Cohen’s favorites.
Lu has reached iconic status because she’s never been shy about showing who she is. Love her or hate her, Luann will push through any obstacle in her way, and she’ll usually do it wearing a statement necklace. One of the former Countess’ journeys was her unforgettable Christmas Eve 2017 arrest in Florida after getting wasted. She let go of alcohol as a result, but some may dispute that claim.
We’re about to see the band back together on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip aka RHONY Legacy and you may be wondering if Luann has a sip of an adult beverage. If you had to hang out with Ramona Singer and cameras, wouldn’t you? The Messenger has the scoop.
One day at a time
During a fancy party for Bravo’s upcoming RHONY Legacy, Luann shared a few little tidbits. According to Lu, she’s starting to hang out with her old buddy booze again. I was honestly under the impression she was already doing that, but apparently not.
“I take it one day at a time,” Luann began. “This group was all about the girls being back together and having fun. As you know, this is an occasion. So I drink on occasion, and this is an occasion!”
Definitely an occasion when on a trip with some epic RHONY alums. Along for the ride and Lu’s eventual fall into the bushes are Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman. Ramona is still trying to remind herself who Kristen is even after filming.
