There’s nothing grey about Sonja Morgan’s gardens, except the beard of her secret Viking boyfriend! She might’ve finally found a man who can handle her voracious appetite for, um, male attention.
The Real Housewives of New York alum/upcoming Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy guest has been dating “the Viking” for a while now. She won’t away too much though, because she wants others to know that “you don’t touch the f*cking Morgan Letters Sonja’s Viking!”
Sonja isn’t revealing the Viking’s identity
Sonja’s usually pretty open about her romantic conquests (see: Owen Wilson), but she’s been uncharacteristically quiet about the Viking. She talked to PEOPLE about her mysterious suitor.
“I’m still seeing the Viking, it’s been eight months, and I am keeping his identity secret for many reasons. He’s a good one; I don’t want all those other girls out there trying to snatch him away from me.”
The way she met the “manly man” sounds like something from a romance novel
Sonja said after the downfall of the original RHONY, she had to escape the city. She fled to a cottage in Virginia, and it was there that she met the Viking.
“It was such a shock to me when we weren’t filming RHONY anymore, so I was like, ‘I gotta get out of New York City. I need to detach myself from my usual routine to and get my sh*t together to figure out what I really want in a man, because I’ve been wasting too much time,’ And while I was there, the Viking came my way.”
Filming Welcome to Crappie Lake with Luann de Lesseps also influenced her to take a chance with someone rugged.
Sonja explained, “We were in Benton, Illinois, and after seeing the guys there I was like, ‘Wow, these are real men.’ Like, ‘These are not those Hermès Pochette kind of metrosexual men you meet in New York City. These are real lovers!'”
“So yeah, my eyes were open. And the Viking, he’s a real manly man, you know what I’m saying? So he got it in and hooked me.”
Seeing each other has been difficult
Sonja says her and the Viking’s schedules make getting together tough. She’s on a comedy tour right now, and his work schedule is inflexible.
“I enjoy my time with him. He gets two days off a week, so I have to make sure I’m available and he’s available. It’s getting a little tricky with my Sonja in Your City comedy tour right now, because I’m doing Monday and Tuesday shows — which, his day off is Tuesday, Wednesday. So we’re fitting it in whenever I can.”
The smutty novels your mother used to hide under the bookcase could never! Hopefully, Sonja has her dentist on call, because it sounds like she’s smitten. And, we know what happens when she tries to rip someone’s clothes off!
