With the New Year’s Eve ball about to drop and usher in a new season of Vanderpump Rules, fans are figuring out which cast members will give the most bang for their buck. With Season 10’s shocking ending, the premiere is highly anticipated as fans watch the dramatic finale of Scandoval. Here are the returning Vanderpump Rules cast members ranked before they get a chance to ruin their reputations in Season 11.
Lisa Vanderpump
I keep thinking, Lisa, who? But in all fairness, Lisa Vanderpump hasn’t been much of an addition to her own show in a few years. The once front-and-center mother hen has taken a back seat to her employees as they each grew and embraced their own dreams. During Season 10, the scenes Lisa was in felt scripted and forced. It doesn’t feel like many of her former SURvers are turning to her for advice anymore.
Ally Lewber
I enjoyed watching Ally Lewber on Season 10, mainly due to her heightened Nancy Drew skills. She was one of the first characters to put two and two together when it came to the Scandoval storyline. Ally is extremely sweet and almost too pure for the Vanderpump Rules world, which is why she ranks so low. But if she keeps finding clues about the gang’s scandalous affairs, she will be a total asset for Season 11.
Lala Kent
During Season 10, I felt Lala Kent had really mellowed out. However, Lala didn’t hold back when it came to the reunion as she sautéed and served up Tom Sandoval. Lala also went hard for Rachel Leviss at the reunion, which was half the reason I kept tuning in. Fingers crossed, we get an activated Lala for Season 11, because even though her delivery is usually nasty, she generally isn’t wrong about her point of view or reading of others around her.
Tom Schwartz
Schwartzy doesn’t usually do it for me when airing his story on Vanderpump Rules, mainly because he is a beta trying to make a name for himself. BUT his appearance on Winter House has really changed my opinion.
I am hoping Season 11 shows Tom’s fun side, where he no longer cares about what his ex-wife, Katie Maloney, has to say. But if viewers get the same Tom Schwartz from Season 10, where he lied and acted as a puppet for his best friend, I think fans will want to cut ties with him quickly.
Scheana Shay
The mother of one isn’t always as Good as Gold, and it often depends on what season we are watching. Season 10 ended by showing Scheana Shay standing by her longtime friend, but we already know Vanderpump Rules Season 11 will also air Scheana having an in-depth conversation with Tom Sandoval. The drama is bound to heat up as she may be forced to choose between the cheater and Broadway star.
Katie Maloney
Is anyone a Katie fan? The hate during Season 10 that literally fell like drool out of her mouth was a bit too much. But, with that being said, the preview of Season 11 showed Katie standing up for Ariana Madix. I’m gonna need Katie to open her sandwich shop and start healing in order for her to be likable in the new season. It’s a tall task, but I think it can be done.
Ariana Madix
Everyone is holding their breath after Ariana shared that she felt fans could turn on her during Vanderpump Rules Season 11. Ariana was made America’s sweetheart after Season 10 and given multiple opportunities to better herself, so what could make her so disliked in the New Year? Whatever it is, I am here for it.
Tom Sandoval
Really? The most hated man in America changed his social media name to Thomas. I can’t with him. But this is exactly why he rates number two among the cast members I am most interested in seeing.
Tom is amazing at embracing the hate and changing how he is viewed. It doesn’t look like he will be painted as a villain for Season 11 either, which is most interesting. I am very ready to see how Bravo gets him out of the hole he has found himself in.
James Kennedy
I find myself rooting for James Kennedy, and it could be because of his wonderful comebacks like “poo poo head” or “worm with a mustache.” I would argue that James was particularly enraged during the Season 10 reunion, almost more than Ariana. It is clear from the sneak peek that James still has trust issues with Sandoval and will need time before ever really reaching out to him again.
I think in Vanderpump Rules Season 11, James will bring the cattiness and still hold Tom’s feet to the fire.
