Let’s talk about Brandi Glanville and how some Bravo stars are treated differently than other Bravo stars. The network has faced an enormous amount of controversy this year, mainly due to the antics of the people they employ.
Both Brandi and Ramona Singer had situations requiring investigations. Brandi was accused of sexually groping Caroline Manzo and Ramona was clocked for her micro-aggressions and racism again.
As a result of Brandi’s alleged indiscretion, she’s been pretty much banished and maligned. Ramona was bounced from BravoCon but she remains in the latest installment of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. She was even invited to the premiere party. Since Bravo appears to be in a forgiving era, will Brandi receive an invite when her franchise has a big soireé? It’s a fair question and she’s asking.
Welp, she’s right
The Bravo fandom has had an on/off relationship with Brandi since she appeared on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Some people love her drama and others find her histrionics a bit too much to swallow. That said, Bravo knows her very well and puts Brandi to work when they need some action.
So action is what they received when the mom of two was cast for RHUGT: Morocco. Brandi basically did what she was told and also probably drank excessively. During a filmed event, she allegedly got Caroline Manzo in a bathroom and groped her without consent. She denied all wrongdoing and the production company launched an investigation which found nothing. Despite inconclusive evidence and zero results, Brandi was guilty by the court of public opinion.
Is Ramona different?
As for Ramona, well she had a recent run-in with racism right before BravoCon so she was slapped on the wrist and told not to bother. I guess that’s all water under the bridge and now the same should go for Brandi. Fair is fair, and all that jazz.
Now Brandi is wondering why she got the shit end of the deal when no one can even prove she did anything wrong. On her Instagram Story, Brandi shared a photo of the RHUGT: Legacy party and wrote, “Oh good! So that means I’ll get an invite to our premiere party! Can’t wait!! @peacock @bravotv.”
Then she added a shot of Sonja Morgan asking Kristen Taekman, “Are you as horny as I am?” Brandi captioned that one, “Just sayin.”
I mean, she has a point. If Bravo cared about optics or anything else related to a moral compass, half the people wouldn’t be there.
While RHUGT: Legacy is currently airing on Peacock, RHUGT: Morocco has been pushed back and there is no premiere date. Hopefully, when they have one, Brandi will be on the red carpet. Just sayin.
