When it comes to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, there’s never a lack of shade and drama. It appears that some of the ladies have gotten started early ahead of Season 14’s debut. Namely, Margaret Josephs, when alluding to her co-star and former bestie, Jackie Goldschneider.
In a new interview with Extra, Marge claimed some co-stars are not the people she “thought” they were. “There’s a lot of shift in relationships [this season], which is a little odd to me,” Marge said. “I think that happens in friendships.”
In addition to her feud with Margaret, which will pan out over Season 14, Jackie also bumped heads with another unsuspecting Housewife — Melissa Gorga. However, according to Marge, Jackie’s beef with Mel has nothing to do with the current state of their relationship. “Some people who I thought were my friends just really aren’t,” she insisted. “[They’re] not the people I thought they were, and I think everybody knows who that is.”
Margaret also has some thoughts about Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin
Outside of the fallout between Margret and Jackie, the new season of RHONJ will showcase the 56-year-old’s relationship with Teresa Giudice following a rough Season 12 and 13. The pair sparred over rumors about Tre’s husband, Luis Ruelas, and Marge’s loyalty to Melissa and Joe Gorga. And according to the Housewives vet, some things never change.
“I don’t have a bond with Teresa anymore at all,” Margaret said. “I think, you know, we did when I first met her [and] she didn’t understand who I was … Some lines were crossed, and … I don’t really want anything to do with her.”
Despite her relationship with the show’s last standing OG, that didn’t stop Marge from connecting with another of her frenemies — Jennifer Aydin.
“Jennifer Aydin and I are in a better place,” Margaret explained, “which is nice to see. You know, there are some really good times, and I think people are tired of the old fighting, and no one has to see that anymore really.”
“The changes and the shifts are fun to watch,” she concluded.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to return to Bravo for Season 14 in 2024.
