It looks like Alexis Bellino is going to end 2023 with a man. But will she also end the year with an orange? Real Housewives of Orange County fans are still waiting for an update for the West Coast cast that should start filming for Season 18 shortly.
Unfortunately for Alexis, her new man has a past and that past is named Shannon Beador. Yes, Lex may or may not have a problem with her picker – but after meeting John Janssen at The Quiet Woman, it appears the two have made a love connection. There has been speculation of a romance, but now it’s confirmed. It’s officially John and Alexis sitting in a tree and The Daily Mail has the scoop.
Step aside Taylor and Travis, a new couple is in town …
John has moved on from Shannon and the moves are now being made on Alexis. For now it’s okay. However, if for some reason Alexis returns to RHOC, Shannon’s life will be flipped upside down more than her car on a Saturday night. While Shan certainly isn’t pleased with this turn of events, there’s not a lot she can do about it.
After a few weeks of rumors and a casual denial or two, John and Alexis are letting the world in on their poorly kept secret. The new couple were photographed strolling around Newport Beach as if they didn’t call the paparazzi on themselves. Lex has also been putting some time in on John’s boat, which has previously been featured on RHOC with Shannon
While I certainly don’t want to begrudge anyone from a blossoming affair of the heart, I do wonder if John hooking up with Alexis means she’s coming back. He was with Shannon for about three years, mainly when she was filming. Their relationship was a mess of toxicity and alcohol, so hopefully both are doing better without the other. That said, John seems to have an affection for the camera.
Season 18 may look different for Shannon
If Alexis snatches Vicki Gunvalson’s hopes and dreams of being in the opening credits, Shannon will be facing the reality of her love life. Additionally, in Season 18 Shannon will be facing the reality of her alcohol issues. In all fairness, those should have been addressed a long time ago.
Currently, Tamra Judge appears to be Team Alexis because Shannon did something to piss her off, which is no surprise. Tammy Sue cuddling up to Lex is another nod in the direction that Alexis might come back to RHOC because historically, Tammy Sue likes to gather her troops early. Stay tuned, a full mess could be on the way.
Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to return with Season 18 in 2024.
