The drama between Kyle Richards and Sutton Stracke is ongoing, both on and off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Fans know Sutton can be a bit of a pot-stirrer. Although, many would simply say she just calls it as she sees it.
On RHOBH Season 13, Sutton incurred Kyle’s wrath by purportedly asking too many questions about her marriage. Kyle didn’t take too kindly to that and, in retaliation, started smack-talking Sutton’s alleged eating and drinking habits.
The awkwardness must’ve been palpable as the two both attended Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party the same week all of this drama was airing on the show. Well, according to Kyle, Sutton was beyond awkward. She was downright “rude.”
Kyle says she was “always friends with Sutton”
On December 13, during an Amazon Live, a fan asked Kyle if she’d run into Sutton during Kathy’s Christmas party. Kyle responded, “Oh, yes, I did … I went up and I said, ‘Happy holidays!’ and I gave her a hug, and she was like [performs backing away gesture and frown].”
Kyle continued, “She did, like, this weird kinda face to me, and … she said something like, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m breaking the ice, happy holidays.’ And then … I jokingly said, ‘You’re in trouble!’ And then she said something, like, kinda rude back, and then I said, ‘Okay, well, I’m just tryna … be nice and break the ice.’ And then she left.”
She then added that the interaction took place early on in the span of the party. “I don’t know what’s going on,” Kyle said. “I was always friends with Sutton. And I really don’t know … what’s going on with her. But it does hurt my feelings. But we’ll have to deal with that at the reunion.”
