Fans were excited to see Denise Richards return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 13; however, this wasn’t the grand reveal they expected. Since the last few episodes of RHOBH have aired, Bravo lovers have been talking non-stop about Denise and her bizarre behavior during Kyle Richard’s THC-themed event. Some, involving her jacket. “I don’t know why people are making such a big deal out of it,” she said on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, Just B. “I don’t understand it.”
Even though she was seen on camera denying any cannabis, the former diamond holder started acting strange by the end of the night. She picked a fight with RHOBH’s self-proclaimed “Ice Queen,” Erika Jayne, and sparred briefly with Dorit Kemsley over what the fashionista would declare a fashion emergency.
For Denise, it wasn’t Dorit’s critique that rubbed her the wrong way; it was how she did it. “You know what Dorit does — she does this with everyone, and especially me. Anytime you see her, she’ll be like, ‘Oh, your lipstick doesn’t look like right. You need some lip gloss,'” she explained. That’s why I was like, ‘Shut up. Shut the f*ck up.'”
Denise questions if Dorit is insecure following jacket comments
Denise’s awkward interaction with Dorit at Kyle’s party isn’t the first time the two Housewives stars have bumped heads; however, she’s still unsure why. “Not once have I seen her has she not said one thing about my appearance,” Denise said before questioning how Dorit may feel about herself. “Do you feel like you need to do that to make yourself feel more secure?”
Regarding her jacket, the OnlyFans star said she wasn’t too concerned with how it looked. The only thing on her mind was getting the “hell” out of Kyle’s trap house. Plus, Denise checked in with her glam squad. They told her it was “hard to tell” that her jacket was upside down.
“I did try it on for my glam after, and they were like, ‘You can’t tell sometimes if it is upside down or right side up,'” she explained. “It’s like this feathery thing. And I just wanted to get out and leave. … I could’ve left the jacket there for all I care.”
Despite her altered state at the latest group event, Denise said she’s not concerned with how it looks to viewers. “Maybe if I hadn’t gone through so much stuff publicly, certain things would’ve bothered me, but because I’ve gone through so much, I’m like, ‘Who gives a sh*t?’ It’s nothing.”
