Erika Jayne is attempting to move forward. Most Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans know about her estranged husband’s alleged crimes, and all the ways Erika’s been pulled into that debacle. It was only natural for Erika to want to try and obtain a fresh start given all that controversy.
As part of her journey to reinvention, Erika took up a residency in Las Vegas, performing her show, “Bet It All on Blonde.” The show received mixed reviews from Bravoholics, as well as conflicting reports on financial success.
Nevertheless, Erika was happy to be performing again, and RHOBH viewers have seen her take the journey back into performance arts. As part of that journey, Erika has shown her highs and lows, her excitement and reservations.
Did Erika “pull it off” with her Vegas residency?
In RHOBH Season 13, Episode 6, Erika opened up to her talent manager, Alexis, about her desire to perform again. “I wanna be back on stage,” she shared. “I wanna be making new music; I want to be entertaining again; I want to have a relationship with an audience.” Soon enough, her wishes would be granted.
In Episode 8, fans saw Erika receive the green light for her Las Vegas residency of 20 shows. “Erika Jayne is back and she’s bigger than ever before,” she said in an interview. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and roses. In Episode 9, Erika told Garcelle Beauvais about her concerns over returning to the spotlight.
“I’ve put on a million shows, but I never had one riding like this on me – that’s my biggest insecurity,” Erika explained. “They’re not going to remember anything other than Erika pulled it off or Erika didn’t pull it off.” Despite the nerves, Erika reassured herself that the residency was a “step in the right direction.”
