Josh Peck might be a familiar name to Millennials or anyone who watched Nickelodeon after school back in the day. He starred in several successful programs aimed at young people and garnered a fair amount of recognition based on his roles.
Apparently, Nickelodeon actors who have aged out and Bravolebs based in LA run in the same groups, as Josh revealed a six degrees of separation from Kristen Doute. He discussed it on an episode of Nick Viall’s podcast, Viall Files.
Everyone needs their Sandoval moment …
Before gaining fame as a Vanderpump Rules star and one of West Hollywood’s most dedicated internet detectives, Kristen hung out with Josh and his roommates. This was long ago, barely before the dawn of time in the early 2000s.
“I’ve known Kristen Doute since I was 20,” Josh began. “[At the time], my best friend’s older brother was like, ‘I met this girl on MySpace. She’s coming over tonight.’ We’re at his bombed-out apartment in North Hollywood and this girl comes in.” Doute had officially entered both the apartment and the chat.
“Kristen — I mean she’s still [like that] — but then she was a smokeshow. We were like, ‘Gary, who is this girl you met on the internet? This is not normal. It’s 2007.’ And he’s like, ‘She’s cool and she’s from Michigan,’” Josh added.
“She really became embedded with us and she just hung out with us. She’s dating Gary and they break up because she cheats on Gary with [Tom] Sandoval. Then she cheats on Sandoval with Gary,” he continued. Sometimes hindsight likes to stick around and smack us in the face for bad choices.
Josh’s wife was also a guest on the podcast and shared, “Didn’t Gary and Sandoval figure it out and they got in contact? They were like, ‘Are we dating the same girl?’ They kept going back and forth. I love you, Kristen.”
Kristen, who has now seemingly grown up and left her Krazy Kristen era in the past, had no hard feelings about the couple sharing her sins. She commented on Instagram, “I love you too @paigeobrienn @shuapeck.”
I doubt Kristen is too concerned about Josh bringing up her past as they’ve both appeared on each other’s podcasts. Currently, Kristen is loved up with Luke Broderick and hopefully they will live happily ever after. No word on Gary.
