Welcome back to RHOM with Real Housewives of Miami Season 6, Episode 8! This week’s episode, “Palm Beach Pandemonium,” lived up to its name as Lisa received even more scrutiny than during the first half of the Palm Beach trip, which we saw last week. Lisa did not take kindly to the planned intervention. But Nicole would end up wishing Lisa were her biggest problem as she met up with her dad for lunch. All this and more on RHOM Season 6, Episode 8.

A serious conversation over croquet brunch

Last week, Lisa, Adriana, and Nicole went to Lisa’s business meeting at Aroma360. That left Marysol, Alexia, Adriana, Larsa, Guerdy, Julia, and Kiki to head to the National Croquet Center. While having brunch there, Marysol received a Google alert on Lisa, reading a headline that claimed she spent over $10k on Instacart.

The girls were shocked and worried. Larsa said Lisa needed to learn to manage her money, especially if she was going to stay with Jody. Alexia then brought up Lenny’s allegation that Lisa planted a listening device in their shared car. Julia encouraged everyone to look at the bigger picture – the children. The group questioned why Lisa left her kids at home after she called the police. Julia said that had it been her, she would’ve stayed home.

The ladies knew they had to say something to Lisa, but trying to offer Lisa any sort of counsel in the past failed, as she was unreceptive to any form of criticism. Guerdy suggested Larsa bring it up, being Lisa’s closest friend. Larsa, however, said she’d tried and it wouldn’t work. She assured the group she’d join in if someone else began. Alexia nominated Julia to kick things off later that night.

From there, David McCoy, Chairman of the Croquet Foundation of America, introduced himself, and the girls got to playing (and David and the other instructors deserved a medal for their patience). The Housewives injected their personality into the game, with Kiki’s breast popping out of her dress as she took a victory lap.

Marysol and Alexia stepped away to have a conversation. Marysol had her feelings hurt by Julia. Last week, during dinner, Julia made some hefty accusations against Marysol, including the hiring of a private investigator, among others, to try and “behead” Adriana. Marysol realized this information came from her ex, and she couldn’t believe Julia was in contact with him.

As Marysol expressed these feelings to Alexia, the Cuban Barbie was, surprisingly, more on Julia’s side. “Julia was very nice about it,” Alexia said, “So, you can’t even be mad at Julia.” But Marysol couldn’t see it that way. She found it “sneaky.” Alexia said, “Julia did nothing!” and hoped Marysol could just leave her ex in the past.

Marysol was about as unreceptive to criticism as Lisa, and Alexia wasn’t afraid to point that out.

An alligator at dinner (and perhaps a snake)

Before Lisa’s dinner from hell began, Julia pulled Alexia aside. Ahead of the Palm Beach trip, Julia expressed interest in rooming with Alexia, but she said she’d have to ask Todd for permission. That rubbed Julia the wrong way and wondered if a bit of homophobia was to blame, subconsciously or otherwise.

“When I heard that,” Julia said, “I was, like, thinking ‘Oh, because some people sometimes feel that, like, me being a lesbian … as if I would be, like, a predator.” Alexia assured Julia that it was just a joke and said she didn’t realize it would be in poor taste. Julia still sensed some nervousness from Alexia but decided to let it go for now.

Lisa, the dinner’s hostess, finally arrived. She told her friends about her efforts to create a new scent. But the meal was suddenly interrupted as Adriana shouted “Alligator!” The women scattered. No one saw it, but Adriana knew what she saw.

Once the dinner resumed, Kiki took a moment to thank Lisa personally for inviting her, having offended her the night before when she criticized how much Lisa talked about Lenny. Kiki asked if they could all stay another week, and Lisa said they’d all bring the kids next time. Nicole segued into her “Redo Mother’s Day Brunch.”

Julia took the talk of the kids to begin the real conversation of the evening. Julia thanked Lisa for attending the opera party but indirectly questioned her choice to leave the kids after having called the police. “It was bedtime,” Lisa said. “So, they went to bed.” Immediately, the tension was palpable, and the girls realized this was not going to go how they hoped.

Alexia stepped in, asking if Lisa’s kids hadn’t asked her to stay, and Lisa said no. Julia tried to go on, but it was hard not to take her words as insulting. “Alexia and I, we have the same feeling … We are better mothers than wives.” Yeesh. “Kids always come first, right?” Oh boy. Alexia tried to continue again, saying how mothers needed to be a child’s stability.

In a confessional, Nicole criticized Alexia’s commentary on parenting, considering Alexia never took parenting criticism very well.

From there, the ladies just started piling on Lisa. They moved from the kids and questioned if she’d jumped in with Jody too quickly, then discussed the Instacart allegation. “I feel like I’m being interrogated right now,” Lisa said. She questioned why her friends would tell her to stop talking about Lenny only to interrogate her the very next day.

Alexia tried to encourage Lisa not to feed the wolves. “Be smarter,” she said, failing to express the softness in her tone. Lisa used the same defense as the night before, “This is my life.” They then began talking about the car. Things were not working. They jumped too quickly from one topic to the next. Guerdy encouraged Lisa to be receptive, and Lisa basically fired back with ‘No, u.’

Alexia correctly identified Lisa’s deflections but things weren’t helped when Adriana went off-book and started defending Lisa. In a confessional, Guerdy noted that Larsa had not said a thing during the conversation. “What happened Larsa? Cat caught your tongue?” she asked in a confessional. Guerdy asked Lisa if she’d perhaps moved on too soon to Jody.

Lisa couldn’t help but feel attacked. She said she didn’t want to be dating. She’d rather “be home watching Netflix” than going out a lot. But nobody believed that. The conversation came to an end when Guerdy wondered aloud if Jody was supporting Lisa financially. Lisa decided that was an overstep and walked away. “With friends like this, who needs enemies?” Lisa asked.

With the trip over and the Housewives back at home, Guerdy got to speaking with her husband, Russell, about how everything went. She told him about the dinner and all of Lisa’s problems. “Jody’s a patient guy,” Russell said.

Guerdy was happy to report she was getting along with everyone, happy for her “New beginnings.” However, the idea of her surgery and treatments frightened her, as well as the radiation consultation beforehand and the possibility of chemo.

The multiple calls from the hospital every day were taking a toll on her. Nevertheless, Russell was there by her side. As Guerdy teared up, both she and Russell looked uncertain as they had to confront the reality of the situation.

Nicole has more siblings than she realized

Elsewhere, Nicole went to a restaurant to meet with her father, Mike, and his girlfriend, Isis. Unfortunately, Isis didn’t show, reportedly due to a “sciatica.” Nicole was skeptical, and things became tense pretty quickly between her and Mike. Despite the long way they’d come in counseling, there were still issues to work out.

Mike left to use the bathroom more than once, and Nicole asked him about his prostate. But the subject quickly changed as Mike stated his intention to have two more kids. Nicole processed this and asked how many kids that would give him in total. His answer? “Eight.” Nicole then realized she had two siblings she didn’t even know about, seven and eight years old.

“I feel like I deserve a big-ass … award,” Nicole said. She told her father to shut up as she continued her attempts to process all of this information. Her one intention had been to meet her dad’s girlfriend. She received much more than she bargained for.

Has Lisa been betrayed by her friends?

In another part of Miami, Lisa enrolled her daughter, Elle, in ballet. Lisa was all too happy to get her daughter into a private dance lesson, reminding her of when she started as a little girl. As she supervised the lesson, she soon received a FaceTime call from Adriana.

Lisa revealed to Adriana that she was having a rough day due to Lenny’s most recent motion – a motion to take full custody of the kids by falsely painting Lisa as an unfit mother. Among the accusations was the abuse of prescription drugs. Adriana decided she’d come and see her friend in person.

Adriana still felt empathy for Lisa, especially after being ganged up on in Palm Beach. Lisa cried and said, “I feel like I’m living in hell and can’t get out. It’s just too much.” Adriana hugged her as Lisa sobbed. Adriana defended Lisa from Lenny and their friends. Lisa criticized her fellow Housewives for discussing her life behind her back.

Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
