As the OG of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana Shay has essentially allowed fans to grow up with her. The spunky brunette worked hard as a SURver, which got her on Lisa Vanderpump‘s good side. Even though the other girls often made fun of her, Scheana refused to be stopped and continued with her own ventures. There is no doubt that Scheana has often had some questionable motives, including sleeping with Brandi Glanville‘s husband and trying to make Stassi Schroeder like her. She certainly has her bright spots too, but here are Scheana Shay’s worst moments on the show.
The Mistress
The first peek fans were given to one of Scheana’s less than finer moments was when she was forced to sit down with Brandi to discuss her relationship with Eddie Cibrian. In 2006, Scheana happily dated the actor without any idea he had a wife and two children at home. Not a good look for the delusional mistress.
In perhaps one of the worst moments in her life, Scheana tried denying that she knew that Eddie was married. According to Scheana, it took almost eight months to figure the whole charade out. It was puzzling at the time because famous people are not known for keeping a lock on their public or private lives. The information was out there, Scheana just didn’t look. The worst was that she actually took him back when he claimed to be separated.
Scheana Gave Stassi the Silent Treatment
VPR Season 2 might have my favorite Scheana moment, when she tried her best to ice out the resident snow queen that was Stassi. It seems Scheana expected a phone call or flowers from the blonde after her oral surgery. However, she didn’t even receive an Edible Arrangements delivery.
In typical Stassi fashion, she could care less if the Good as Gold singer wasn’t speaking to her. She probably took it as an early Christmas gift. In an attempt to grab the spotlight, Scheana decided to share information about her foot ailment.
Alas, even her foot was ignored, which caused Scheana to lose it. Scheana even added an eye infection to the mix. After trying one last time to garner any form of sympathy, Stassi finally told her to “hobble off,” leaving Scheana stunned and looking like a fool.
Scheana Hearts Rob
Scheana’s relationship with Rob Valletta was savage. She should have been wearing butterfly clips due to how much she was acting like a middle schooler. Season 6 was probably one of the most unhinged moments for Scheana, who was addicted to talking about Rob.
Throughout the season, she spoke about how he assembled a TV in seven minutes, how she was the happiest she had ever been, how he had a big penis, and basically how he was the best thing since sliced bread. The Rob obsession felt icky to most. The culmination occurred when Scheana said “I love you” to him and then stared at him for what felt like forever, only to walk away. Clingy much?
Scheana Shared Info About Divorce
Personally, for me, the worst moment for Scheana was when she decided to share intimate details of her divorce from Mike Shay. The two had been the it couple for years, and it very much felt like a betrayal for her to reveal what happened. According to Scheana, everything was good at the beginning of 2016, but her husband started to change. It turns out that Mike had an issue with drugs and a major addiction.
At one point, Scheana shared that her husband had cleared out her bank account. After revealing he had lied again to her, Scheana was at her wits end with Bravo cameras catching the chat. Scheana noted, “This relationship needs to be done on paper…I know divorces aren’t easy, and it’s not something that I ever wanted.”
Mike seemed okay with the decision, sharing that she and her family never talked to him with “respect.” Honestly, the whole conversation was hard to watch. Even though Scheana did what was right for her, it felt icky having it play out on the small screen.
