There has been a lot of buzz about Alexis Bellino lately. Fans have wondered if she will be holding an orange for Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. She was a cast member for Seasons 5-8. Since then, she divorced Jim Bellino and returned to the dating scene.
Current RHOC star Shannon Beador is also single after her boyfriend, John Janssen, ended their relationship. Unfortunately for Shannon, John and Alexis met at The Quiet Woman one magical night, and now they are a couple. “It hurt a lot,” Shannon admitted. “Number one, John Janssen said that he didn’t want to be in a public relationship, so this is quite ironic.” I agree.
Whether John is just chasing some possible camera time is up for debate. And now Andy Cohen is comparing John to Slade Smiley.
John is giving off Slade Smiley vibes
Andy Cohen discussed what fans can expect from the upcoming season of RHOC on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. Host Jeff Lewis wasted no time trying to get the tea from Andy. “Okay, what about Alexis? Is she coming back?” he asked.
“You know, that’s wild. I mean, John Janssen is like heading into Slade Smiley territory,” Andy replied. “That’s what I said,” Jeff added.
During the first two seasons of RHOC, Slade dated Jo De La Rosa. Basically, Slade wanted her to be a Housewife. She broke off their engagement and headed to Los Angeles. So, Slade ended up dating RHOC star Gretchen Rossi. During Gretchen’s time on the show, Slade delighted in insulting her co-stars and getting involved in the ladies’ drama. He always gave me the ick. And don’t get me started on how Slade allegedly treated his kids.
But Andy had a few more drops of tea to spill. “I mean, it’s wild, right? It’s wild,” Andy said. “You know, what’s interesting about Alexis is, and I saw this at BravoCon. I saw she and Tamra [Judge] made up at BravoCon. And then she and Heather [Dubrow] have gotten close over the last few years, which I already knew about, but, so she actually has a lot of ties with the group,” he added.
“Alexis and Heather?” Jeff asked. Andy confirmed it. Well, it sounds like Alexis has a good chance of snatching an orange for the upcoming season. But if she does, will John be back in front of Bravo’s cameras?
The Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to return with Season 18 in 2024.
