House of Villains Winner Tanisha Thomas Reveals Plans for the $200,000 Prize Money

Now that Bad Girls Club alum Tanisha Thomas has secured her House of Villains win, she’s detailing her plans for the $200,000 grand prize. But before that, she recalls the moment her co-star Anfisa Arkhipchenko cast the game-changing vote to make her the first-ever HOV winner.

“I was in shock. I couldn’t believe it,” she told Hollywood Life. “Towards the end of this thing, Anfisa and Bananas started to get so close, so I thought Bananas had this in the back for sure. When Anfisa broke the tie with me, it was a moment. I’m still in shock.”

The December 21 episode showed Tanisha’s closest ally, Johnny Bananas, winning the final Battle Royale challenge and taking her to the final two with him. Past contestants, including Omarosa and New York, returned to cast their votes for who they believed should win. In the end, the vote was tied — three for Tanisha and three for Bananas. Even though Tanisha could taste the victory, it didn’t make standing next to her ally any easier. “I mean, this is my bestie, my homie, and we’re up against each other. It was such a bittersweet feeling. I didn’t know what to expect. I couldn’t believe it.”

Since House of Villains is over, everybody’s wondering what Tanisha will do with her winnings. “I’m going on a long-needed vacation,” she said. “Jamaica’s calling my name. Then I want to come back and bring my podcast to life and, spend more time with my son and keep growing and working on being an epic, amazing mom for my son. That’s the center of my life. He is the apple of my eye. I’m going to pay off some bills and really get my life together.”

For Tanisha, Jamaica will be more than just a needed vacation trip — it’s a place for her to recharge. “I love hosting. It’s my passion. It’s what I want to get back into. I’m going to go away to Jamaica, clear my head, come back, dive right into that,” she said.

Throughout the finale episode, Tanisha spoke a lot about her son Aiden — her reason for competing in the first place. Because she’s won, it only makes sense to treat him, too. “I’ll take my son to Disney World. He’s really into Mickey Mouse right now. He’s never been.”

Before signing off (for Season 1), Tanisha spoke about her pride in being the show’s first-ever winner and, furthermore, playing with integrity, compassion, and honesty.

“I played exactly like that throughout the course of the show. I played with integrity. I played with my heart. I was consistent. I was loyal. I was focused. I was myself. And in the end, it definitely paid off and made me $200,000 richer.”
