Bravo stars Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo have been dating for two years now. They may not be ready to put a ring on it, but they’re certainly ready for their closeup.
In a December 2023 interview with Elite Daily, Paige and Craig talked about wanting to work together in the future. They even pitched an idea for a morning talk show, hinting that they’d be ready and willing to replace a certain married morning show couple should they ever decide to vacate their jobs.
“If Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos want to retire, we’re here for it,” Paige said. “We’ll take it over … I’ve always wanted to skin her and wear her like last year’s Versace.” Ew. If I were Kelly Ripa, that would scare me more than a little bit.
‘Morning Madness’ with Paige and Craig?
Kelly has hosted “Live With Kelly and Mark” alongside her husband of 27 years since April 2023. Before that, Kelly shared hosting duties on the long-running morning show with Ryan Seacrest (2017-2023), Michael Strahan (2012-2016), and Regis Philbin (2001-2011).
But should Mark and Kelly ever decide they’ve had enough, Craig and Paige are ready to step in. Craig even pitched the idea of a knockoff show to Bravo execs. “If Bravo wants to do a morning show, I would love to do it with Paige,” he said.
And this isn’t the first time the two Summer House and Southern Charm stars have proposed a spinoff. Craig has previously said he would totally be up to do a show with his long-distance girlfriend. “I think it’d be fun to see us in our off time,” the Sewing Down South founder said.
His fashion blogger girlfriend agreed that, though there would be a lot of “pressure” to pull off a successful show, they’d be better together than alone in either of their respective Bravo shows. “I think [our own show] would be funnier than [either] Southern Charm [or] Summer House,” the NYC resident said.
Currently, the couple split their time between Paige’s Midtown Manhattan apartment and Craig’s renovated colonial in Charleston, South Carolina. They have a “four-day rule” and try to never go more than four days apart. But fans would like to see them eventually settle into a home together — if Paige can ever bring herself to leave her mom.
