Alexis Bellino has quite a knack for dipping on and off reality TV. She started on The Real Housewives of Orange County from Seasons 5 to Season 8. Shannon Beador had joined the season prior to Alexis’ departure.
Alexis took her life off-screen for a while. She split from Jim Bellino and started dating Andy Bohn. In December 2020, the duo got engaged after a year together. They stayed in a three-year engagement before calling it quits in 2023.
The couple were relatively private, but became notorious for one reality TV appearance. And with Alexis’ rumored upcoming return to RHOC, her time on another Bravo show is being revisited.
Alexis “doesn’t mind” public displays of affection
Alexis and Andy appeared as charter guests on Below Deck Season 7. The two were not yet betrothed when they took a cruise on Valor with Kate Chastain as chief stew.
In an aptly-titled episode called “Public Displays of Affection,” the duo were filmed all over each other, all day long.
Kate witnessed it all. At the time, she quipped in a confessional interview that Alexis “just got divorced, and I don’t know if she’s trying to prove it to her ex or her friends that she is doin’ fine! But you can be doin’ fine without having a tongue down your throat.”
After the episode aired, Alexis commented on the episode while chatting with Life After Bravo.
“We don’t mind PDA. I know some people are against it,” the RHOC alum reacted.
Fast forward to September 2023 when Alexis and Andy ended their relationship. The reality TV star re-entered the public eye to comment on the split.
“Drew and I have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple,” she wrote in a statement. “Despite this, our love for each other remains strong, and we both sincerely wish nothing but the best for one another. We recognize that it’s in our best interest to pursue separate paths.”
Interestingly, this renewed interest in Alexis seemingly paved the way for her return to RHOC. That and her decision to date Shannon’s ex-boyfriend John Janssen. Wild stuff.
