At this point, Sister Wives is sort of a misnomer when it comes to TV show titles. Considering Kody Brown’s marriages are falling apart, the women in his life aren’t exactly sister wives anymore.
All the worse for Kody, he’s being forced to relive all of his ups and downs with production. Sister Wives: Look Back has shown Kody and the Brown women reflecting on their time together, good and bad.
With everything being laid out on the table, a fair question to ask would be where does the family go from here? Well, Kody has some thoughts amid the televising.
Kody hopes everyone can “find happiness”
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Kody expressed his feelings amid the many marital issues. “Every one of us is having our own struggle with the reality of this experience. Every one of us is having a struggle with the fact that we have years together and now we’re dissatisfied enough to say we can’t work this out anymore.”
He continued, “It is sad. It is heartbreaking. You’re looking for answers in a state of confusion. Once again, the only answer you can make if you want to have a good relationship is moving forward with a lot of charity.”
He reemphasized, “There’s just no other thing that you can do. We’re moving forward.” Although, Kody added the forward movement has been performed “mostly separately.” He further asked, “How do you do that when it feels like such a deep betrayal?”
“And yet my logical mind says, ‘Everybody’s just looking for happiness here. Everybody’s just looking for that space where they’re happy. We might not have been happy together. What the blessing will be is if we’re going to break up, let’s please find happiness after that.’ But that’s a process.”
