The past year has been challenging for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards. Not only has she had to deal with the onslaught of rumors about her relationship with country singer Morgan Wade, but she’s also had a tough year with her husband, Mauricio Umansky.
In case you need a refresher, news about the reality stars’ split first hit the Bravoverse in July 2023. A source reported that “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while;” however, they were still living under the same roof. Shortly after, Kyle and Mo issued a joint statement stating, “Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue.” Since then, it’s been a whirlwind for the RHOBH star. If it’s not social media users accusing the star of using Ozempic to get whipped into shape, it’s Sutton Stracke stressing her out during a sit-down lunch after repeatedly telling her to “name ’em.”
Despite a rough 2023, Kyle’s new year is already looking bright. During her latest winter trip to Aspen, Colorado (oof), Kyle and her family ran into somebody very special. Like, A-List special. That’s right. Rihanna herself.

Any fan of Bravo knows that the global superstar Rihanna is also a huge fan of The Real Housewives. She’s spoken openly about her her obsession with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Kathy Hilton, how proud she was of Karen Huger, and how she admires Garcelle Beauvais for her authentic nature.
Now, it’s Kyle’s turn to feel the love. Over the holiday weekend, Riri, A$AP Rocky, Kyle, and the rest of her family spent some time together at Kemo Sabe. You know, the hat store Kyle just LOVES to spend her time at. Sources told TMZ that Rihanna was finishing her VIP shopping as Kyle entered to do hers. She felt Rihanna’s presence and asked if they could meet. When Ri heard, she responded with an enthusiastic, “F*ck yes!”
Their families chatted for an hour or so before wrapping it up. Before Rihanna left, though, Kyle gifted her a nearly $900 turquoise beaver hat. Maybe she’ll post an IG pic of it soon so we can see!
