We might not know exactly when Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is coming to our screens. But you better believe that longtime cast member Melissa Gorga is going to tease every ounce of drama possible until it does.
The mother-of-three reached level 10 beef with sister-in-law Teresa Giudice last year, and their feud shows no signs of stopping. But based on everything leaked to the press from filming, the whole cast is at odds.
So, it was more than a little strange when somebody on the cast decided to create a group chat…
The RHONJ cast share a group chat, despite drama
On an episode of her podcast On Display with Melissa Gorga, Melissa dropped a tiny tidbit about just how awkward things are.
She shared, “I won’t say who, but one of our cast members started a group text with all of us in it. And was like ‘Happy Thanksgiving everyone.’ We were all like, ‘Whoa.’ It was just a weird thing. And you know, I texted back in the group text and said, ‘Happy Thanksgiving.’ But it was just awkward and weird.”
Melissa went on to say that she wasn’t the only one taken aback. “Some of the other cast members will call me. And like, ‘Why did she put us all together?’ It’s weird, but I do appreciate it,” the boutique owner revealed.
More drama ahead
It would be easy to assume that said texter is Tre, but given that Tre isn’t even on speaking terms with Melissa, why would she bother to include her? It was even rumored that Teresa refused to confront Melissa about their issues while filming. This is a huge departure from pretty much every single season they have filmed together.
Either way, Melissa has already gone out of her way to let fans know to expect the unexpected for the upcoming season.
Back in November, Melissa noted, “We definitely have people on [RHONJ] who if they’re starting to feel — especially this season, woof, if they’re starting to feel less than, or like, they are not getting enough airtime of some sort, they’ll just gravitate the complete other way because they’re like, ‘Well, this will get me airtime.’ It’s the most frustrating thing when it comes to ‘Housewives.’ But I think that’s what makes the show go round also.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey will return with Season 14 sometime this year on Bravo.
