Even while The Real Housewives of Potomac took a holiday break from airing, Mia Thornton still gave us something to talk about in its absence! She’d already teased a new relationship at BravoCon even though her estranged (but still legal) husband, Gordon Thornton, probably still has clothes hanging in the closet of the home they once shared.
Now, Mia just dropped a bombshell on Instagram, sharing a photo of her embracing her new beau. And, she was wearing a ring on THAT finger!
Of course, it’s all speculation for now. But Mia’s new boyfriend looks like he’s here to stay…
Who is Mia Thornton’s new man?
Mia and her new man made things Instagram official when she posted a photo yesterday, captioned, “4.4.4. #2024 [love heart emoji] Let’s Go!” As if that wasn’t enough, the photo featured her in a leg-wrapping embrace with a radio personality named Incognito, who was awkwardly lifting her into a car.
Hopefully Karen Huger’s wig was taped down tight when she saw the post, because there was a massive rock on Mia’s finger! Cue the rumors of an engagement with Incognito, who actually isn’t new to Mia’s life. It turns out, they were high school sweethearts.
Mia’s RHOP squad showed up in the comments section to cheer on Mia’s new romantic venture. Pot-stirrer Gizelle Bryant commented with a sassy “Okkkkkkkk! 2024 coming in hottttt!” Ashley Darby couldn’t help but exclaim, “The hardest soft launch.” And even newcomer Nneka Ihim, joined the party with a “2024 already looking good!!” Wendy Osefo went straight for the drama with a “Bishhhhhh!!! I’m gagging.”
Are Mia and Incognito already engaged?
One would think huge diamond ring worn on the left ring finger would signal an engagement. However, a source spilled the tea to the Shade Room, shutting down the Mia and Incognito engagement rumors. Nevertheless, they did hint that the couple is “heading in that direction when the time is right.”
Mia has yet to comment on her relationship status, but she was probably too busy being lifted into cars by her new man to respond promptly. If you asked Candiace Dillard-Bassett, she’d likely explain that Mia needs that assistance because her feet are too damn big for her to get into cars by herself!
