The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Candiace Dillard Bassett recently slammed Monica Garcia for the damning videos that came to light after the RHOSLC Season 4 finale.
After the latest Real Housewives of Salt Lake City episode, Monica became public enemy no. 1 among her cast mates. Heather Gay outed the rookie Housewife for being the face behind the Reality Von Tease social media account, and since then, more has been revealed online.
Not only has Monica’s best friend (Tenesha Luckett) revealed some shocking truths about the troll account and Monica’s involvement with it, but another video showing Monica and her mother, Linda Darnell, fighting over their roles on the show has shocked viewers even more.
Candiace says it’s time for Monica and Linda to pack it up…
After the video showed Monica and her mother arguing about understanding the “assignment” and playing “nice” with her co-stars so she could get more camera time surfaced, the social media blogger issued a public statement. “I full-heartedly believe in karma; you are all just watching me live mine,” she wrote before saying the video was a “private” moment from her home that should’ve never been shared.
Despite her lengthy acknowledgment, some aren’t buying it — especially Candiace. “That video….,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Our shows don’t work without authentic people who are willing to show the world their real lives.”
“We all have a responsibility to stay true to that…as I’ve said beforeeeeeee.”
In another post, the Drive Back singer questioned some of the comments Monica and Linda made during the video.
“‘You’re an actor!’ Mama, what??,” she asked. “Hang it up, girls, lol. That was it.”
For those familiar with Candiace on RHOP, her statements shouldn’t be a surprise. She’s publicly dragged her co-stars Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant for years over what she believes is disingenuous behavior. Now, there’s somebody else on the other side to receive it.
During the finale episode, Monica teased there’s more to the story regarding Reality Von Tease. So, we’ll definitely be tuned into part one of the three-part reunion next week to sip all the tea.
