After spending a few years away from Bravo, Phaedra Parks somehow finagled her way onto Married to Medicine without actually being, well, ‘married to medicine.’ She claimed she was dating an overseas doctor, but we learned that fizzled out before we ever had a chance to see him on the show. Now, she’s supposedly dating another mystery physician, but is marriage ever on the horizon for Phaedra?
Will Phaedra ever walk down the aisle again?
Of course, Phaedra was previously married to Apollo Nida. They share two kids, Ayden and Dylan, AKA the Prince and Mr. President. On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we saw their messy marriage fall apart as Apollo went to prison over fraud crimes. These days, Apollo is out of jail and they’re successfully co-parenting.
During a recent episode of M2M, Phaedra surprisingly revealed to her Season 10 castmates that she’s not interested in getting married again. One messy marriage was enough for her.
“I don’t think you have to put a label on something,” Phaedra explained. “And I think for people who are high-income people, it’s too dangerous to get married.”
Dr. Simone Whitmore was in disbelief. What happens when Phaedra’s sons grow up and leave the nest? Apparently, that’s not something Phaedra is concerned about right now. They still have a few years before they’re ready to leave the nest.
“I’m not lonely,” Phaedra shared. “I guess because I did have a very bad divorce, I was in love, I was so happy, and it went crazy like super quick.”
Phaedra said that during her divorce from Apollo, she went into a dark place. Her kids saw the headlines about their dad, so the idea of putting her kids through that kind of public spectacle again doesn’t really seem to be worth it.
