Another day, another tepid take from Tammy Sue! Tamra Judge of The Real Housewives of Orange County has made talking smack about other Bravolebrities part of her regular gig on her podcast.
This time, Tamra came for The Real Housewives of New York City alum/queen of quirk, Sonja Morgan. Sonja recently appeared on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy. She gave us all of the hilarious things we’ve come to love and expect from her: sexual innuendos, ditziness, and drunken blunders (could those three things be the new “smokey eye, updo, Gstaad?”)
But if you ask Tamra, Sonja’s antics are calculated. Can’t we just enjoy things, Tammy? Read on to hear what Tamra said about Sonja.
Tamra Judge: “Sometimes I feel like Sonja is acting”
Tamra and her guest host, fellow RHOC cast member Emily Simpson shared their thoughts about the newest installment of RHUGT. They were speaking on the January 4 episode of Two Ts in a Pod – shadily called “Will The Real Sonja Please Stand Up.”
In one RHUGT episode that was referenced, Sonja took the ladies on a wild ride with a story about her ex-husband, John Adams Morgan. However, the tale seemed more like a puzzle with missing pieces, leaving the other women scratching their heads and questioning if Sonja was playing 4D chess with reality.
While discussing Sonja’s unique brand of behavior, Tamra implied that she’s had enough. “Sometimes I feel like Sonja is putting on a show.”
Emily chimed in, “I think they give her a pass though, because I don’t think that she’s malicious.”
Tamra then flipped the switch to praising Sonja, asserting that, “She’s not malicious, and that’s what I like about her the most,” also labeling her as “funny” and a “ding dong.” Drawing parallels, Tamra compared Sonja’s antics to her ex-amiga Shannon Beador’s famous “shake” routine on RHOC.
“You know how Shannon has her act? The shaking? Sometimes when you do that act over and over again, it’s like, come on, move on,” Tamra added.
Come on; everyone on reality TV has a schtick. Tammy’s is to scream about other people’s business and relationships that have nothing to do with her. So, most would prefer a hilariously eccentric Sonja Tremont Morgan any day! She brings an unmatched lighthearted energy to the show without diving into the depths of sinisterness. Plus, who else is going to do vacation anal with random bootleg Jack Sparrows?
