The return of Ana Quincoces was probably exactly what Bravo hoped it would be. Ana hardly had to say a word and she sent the Real Housewives of Miami cast into hysterics.
Alexia Nepola, despite her previous reunion claim that she wasn’t afraid of Ana, ran at the mere reading of her name. Marysol Patton left with her, saying she didn’t want to see Ana, considering Ana and her daughter, Beba, supposedly said they wanted her dead.
That wasn’t exactly true; Beba called Marysol “the rotting corpse,” so, still rather vicious. Since her appearance on the show, Ana and Beba have taken to their podcast to reflect.
Ana explains what was left on “the cutting room floor” during Real Housewives of Miami cameo
Ana explained, “This whole highly-anticipated ‘Ana is showing up,’ you know, I get why they milked that. The reaction was unexpected even for me … What you saw is what you saw … What ended up on the cutting room floor is I walked in, we waited a long time because they had just left, and so the girls were filming in there about the reaction to how they had left.”
She continued, “We waited and waited. Finally, we walked in, and we were there for a good hour before they came back. And during that hour, I said, ‘I don’t understand why they left.’ I really didn’t understand … The fact that my presence might be uncomfortable … That’s fine, but to leave?”
Ana deemed herself unworthy of whatever amount of money Alexia and Marysol lost by stepping away from the cameras. After someone clarified that they left because Marysol made claims of Ana wanting her dead, Ana clarified what her daughter had said. Ana then explained why she and her daughter felt so strongly about Marysol.
Of course, that story didn’t make it into the final cut. Ana said she had been crying, and that was evident on camera in her view, but the reason why remained a mystery to viewers. Ana and Beba further referenced some cruelty that Marysol enacted against their family but didn’t get into specifics.
