The devastating news of Christian’s death broke on January 5. It revealed that the actor, who had just wrapped filming the movie Forever Hold Your Peace and was known for his work in the films The Good German and Speed Racer, had perished along Madita and Annik. The small plane they were traveling in fell into the ocean due to trouble with the engine. The pilot of the aircraft also lost their life. Investigations into the incident’s cause are currently underway.

Christian is survived by his wife, Jessica Klepser, and grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Germany. Jessica shared her grief in an Instagram statement, remembering her daughters, Madita, a vibrant 7th-grade student, and Annik, a 4th-grade student known for her gentle yet strong demeanor.

Sending love to Jessica at what must be an absolutely devastating time, as well as Christian’s work family at The Agency and anyone grieving the loss of Christian, Madita, and Annik.
