When The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow lost her beloved ring in an airport bathroom, she was upset. She kept talking about the value of the ring, which was $60k. While cast members searched for the ring, Monica Garcia really went there. And by there, I mean the receptacles for the tampons. Meanwhile, Heather Gay dipped out on the search.
But, as the Palm Springs trip wore on, Monica quickly tired of hearing Lisa moan about her lost ring, which was a gift from her husband, John Barlow. That may be why some fans and some RHOSLC cast members, wondered if Monica had actually pocketed the ring. After the Reality Von Tease reveal, it would be odd for the cast not to consider it.
During the first part of the Season 4 RHOSLC reunion, Lisa explained the emotional significance of the ring. “For me, losing that [ring] was a big deal. Henry [Barlow] almost died after I had him, and John gave me that ring because I was like, ‘I don’t know if we’re going to be able to have more kids’ … That meant more than just a ring that I wear on my finger,” Lisa explained. “Every time I look at it, [I think of] our two beautiful babies.” Monica stated that she didn’t know the backstory, which was fair. But she also accused Heather and Lisa of starting the rumor that she stole the ring. Both denied it, although Heather did entertain the notion that Monica had sticky fingers.
Lisa lashed out at Monica’s jewelry choices
But Lisa had some feelings about Monica’s ring selection. She wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, “I don’t care if she’s jealous and mad I can be upset about whatever I want to be upset about.” She continued, “Don’t get a knock off of my ring and wear it to BravoCon clearly obsessed.”
Well, no word which finger Monica was wearing her ring on. I don’t think that Baby Gorgeous will be letting this issue go anytime soon.
