Southern Charm fans could only expect that things were going to get heated between Olivia Flowers and Taylor Ann Green at the Season 9 reunion. It would be the culmination of an entire season of frustration.
Taylor, of course, was the villain this season after getting physical with Olivia’s ex-flame, Austen Kroll. She lied about it, seemed to deflect blame, and got defensive when her former best friend did not give her the forgiveness she asked for. To top it all off, Olivia overheard Taylor saying that she and Austen were never anything significant enough to respect that boundary.
Olivia was mindful of her boundaries and spoke her mind throughout the season, but it was so satisfying to hear her dig in to Taylor in an exclusive clip from the reunion.
Olivia explained “where the problem is for me”
E! News shared a clip of the two ladies, both dressed in red frocks, fighting to get their point across. Naturally, Olivia has the moral high ground, but also the more eloquent manner about her.
“I understand the severity of hurting a friend. Of hurting an ex,” Taylor claimed.
“It’s not even the action that’s the problem,” Olivia answered. “Not only the cover up. But then to try then make it like, it’s our fault for not understanding that it was just like a drunken moment. After you had lied so many times to my face.”
“Then to expect me to, like, hop on the forgiveness wagon. And because I didn’t, y’all proceeded to say like, ‘uh, I’m just so tired of this,'” she continued accompanied with a hilarious impression of her nemesis. “Of course you’re f*cking tired of this. Y’all are in this sh*t bed that you made. That’s where the problem is for me.”
Taylor denied that she ever “tried to say that [Olivia] was the problem.”
“Yes you did, every conversation we had-” Olivia tried again.
As Taylor attempted to defend herself once more, “Olivia, every text-” Olivia interrupted and said, “Shut up.”
Well, the friendship is more than over at this point. It’s clear the two do not speak anymore. Is anybody surprised?
