The Southern Charm Season 9 finale brought some firsts to the reality TV show. Someone finally reached their limit with Austen Kroll, though he wasn’t headbutted by one of his disillusioned conquests, but by JT Thomas. The Pillows and Beer podcast co-host pushed him first though, with JT perched on a bar stool in order to be eye to eye with the Southern Charm bad-boy.
Austen had an epiphany of sorts when he realized that JT’s constant confrontations of him were driven by his feelings for Taylor Ann Green. That, and a bit of proper southern honor, perhaps.
All the drama from Austen’s kiss with the self-proclaimed embodiment of the scarlet letter reverberated within the group. If for nothing else, that the group rallied around Olivia Flowers after dealing with the tragic death of her brother and the fallout of Taylor’s poor judgement.
Southern Charm Season 9 reunion preview: Andy has to step in and diffuse the situation
So the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion promises to bring extra drama. And in a clip for the highly-anticipated event, JT continued his beef with Austen by suggesting the Southern Charm star undergo an exorcism. This guy is really hoping to get an “aha” moment from the Pillows and Beer podcast co-host.
Host Andy Cohen began the reunion, as he always does, by greeting the cast. And upon asking JT how he felt about his first reunion, he answered in a surprising manner.
“I think I’m gonna perform the first ever f*ck boy exorcism. On him,” the Southern Charm newbie said as he gestured to his nemesis. “That demon’s coming out today boy. I’m gonna work you.”
Austen snarked, “Boy? Who is this guy?”
“The power of JT compels you,” Shep quipped. The rest of the cast laughed in response.
Andy chose to diffuse the situation. He said, “Hey, JT, it’s minute one of the reunion. I do appreciate coming in hot, but, we’re gonna get to everything.”
Perhaps an exorcism is in order for Austen. Therapy really doesn’t seem to be doing the job.
