Brandi Glanville’s facial disfigurement saga rolls on. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared that she was told she wasn’t a candidate for a facelift. So who’s helping her out? None other than LeAnn Rimes. We’ve officially entered the Twilight Zone.
Brandi was left disfigured from stress-induced angioedema after facing claims that she had touched co-star Caroline Manzo inappropriately. The condition causes swelling under the skin.
The former housewife is opening up about her recovery on the podcast Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, talking about how the angioedema affected her and praising her ex-husband’s wife (with whom he cheated), LeAnn, for being supportive and sending her gifts during this difficult time.
LeAnn is helping Brandi on the road to recovery
On the podcast, Brandi talks about how she’s working with doctors to help get her back to where she was before the condition. She was rather devastated that she wasn’t a candidate for surgery. The reason, according to one doctor? “My skin is very tight.”
In July, Brandi had denied going under the knife when fans began speculating why her appearance had changed. This continued well into the holidays when she posted photos, and people commented, “Who is this?”
Before Christmas, Brandi was hospitalized because her face badly began swelling. It’s an issue she claimed was “partially” due to the stress of the unaired Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco.
Brandi shared how her son had to call 911 and reiterated that fans didn’t understand the stress she was under and how it was negatively impacting her health.
Now, she is working with plastic surgeons to try to navigate her condition and conquer it.
Modern family
In addition to touching on what happened to her, Brandi also talked about the support she’s received from her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian’s wife. While their split may not have been great when it happened, it looks like everyone worked past that. They spent the holidays together, as a true “modern family.”
Brandi clarified that she and LeAnn have a really good relationship that she cherishes, having already let go of the past, changed, and moved on.
She added that Eddie and LeAnn visited her in the hospital, and LeAnn even gifted her with a thoughtful present after the two ladies bonded over skincare.
“LeAnn and I always bonded over skincare,” Brandi explained. “It’s funny because she always writes on my present, ‘love Lea,’ not ‘Lea and Eddie.’ She clearly bought it for me, it’s from her.”
A modern family indeed!
