The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen has long denied the claims she wants to be like Kim Kardashian and Co. — and today is no different.
After facing criticism from her co-star, Adriana de Moura, in Season 6 for imitating the superstar family, Larsa said she doesn’t have to be like anybody else. “I don’t hide in anyone’s shadow,” she told People. “I’m my own person. I feel like I’m good being alone,” she explained. “I’m good.”
“I feel like for me, I’ve evolved and come so far from where I was 13 years ago. So I don’t really pay her or anyone who says that any attention because I feel like I’m really focused on the things that matter, the things that make a difference for me and the people around me.”
Where are Adriana and Larsa today?
Even though RHOM is in its sixth season, Larsa has known Adriana for quite some time. However, the reality star said she feels Adriana has experienced little growth. “Adriana is literally the same person she was 13 years ago,” she said.
“I feel like for me, I’ve evolved and come so far from where I was 13 years ago. So I don’t really pay her or anyone who says that any attention because I feel like I’m really focused on the things that matter, the things that make a difference for me and the people around me.”
Larsa has shared a little about the fallout of her relationship with the Kardashian sisters, saying she “knew too much” about Kim’s marriage to Kanye West.
“I was best friends with Kim, and I love her, and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle,” she said during an episode of RHOM. “I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship.”
The Real Housewives of Miami continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
