Even though the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is a sex icon to some, Erika Jayne does have her limits. For a few seasons now, some followers have been holding their breath as they waited for Erika to slip up so they could pounce.
A fan account, @ownitbabyrinna, has made some surprising claims about Erika that are sure to please some critical RHOBH fans. The account alleges that Erika and Garcelle Beauvais‘ son, Oliver Saunders, are now dating. Supposedly, in the wake of finalizing his divorce, Oliver and Erika “were spotted together on date in a restaurant in LA.” Many fans instantly doubted these claims about Erika and Oliver. However, the rumor of Erika Jayne dating Garcelle Beauvais’ son seems to have found traction with other, perhaps more gullible, viewers.
Frankly, it doesn’t seem like Erika was lured into any May/December relationship. But I will get to the bottom of these rumors as my world revolves around Bravo. I mean, who has the time nowadays to make up pure crap? Erika is a pro at swerving unwanted headlines, and as she does, she waltzed right on by addressing any of this nonsense.
There’s an Age Limit
The Pretty Mess singer has a type, and it isn’t 32-year-old Oliver Saunders. The 90210 housewife likes them old, accomplished, and claiming their AARP discount. In May 2023, Erika was spotted in Las Vegas with 72-year-old lawyer Jim Wilkes. Erika has reeled in another lawyer who, get this, is famous for suing nursing homes on behalf of residents who were abused.
It knocked me off my chair to learn that Jim was also a long-time colleague of Erika’s ex-husband, Tom Girardi, so clearly, she has a pattern. Honestly, anyone below 69 probably just wouldn’t cut it for the diamond-loving designer wearing blonde.
Oliver Is Newly Single
There is no way Erika would accept the sloppy seconds of Rachel Leviss. During Season 10, Rachel rebounded while out in Las Vegas with Oliver. The move was public as they kissed on the dance floor in front of the rest of the cast, and the backlash was swift. The Sin City bartender was a whole heap of mess when he made out with the former model, as he was technically still married.
Now, Erika is a lot of things, but she doesn’t want a mess right on her doorstep. Oliver has already been called out by his ex-wife for cheating. Though he denied they were still living under the same roof, the whole explanation seemed fishy. In May, Oliver was caught having to deal with child support issues as he was accused of owing back payments. There is just no way Erika would be caught within one hundred yards of Oliver and his drama.
BFF for Life
Over the last season, Garcelle and Erika have formed a nice friendship. A recent episode even showed Erika standing up for Garcelle’s feelings when Dorit Kemsley used a trigger word. Erika has been on a quest to reconcile with the group after a few rough years, and Garcelle was one of her main stops during her apology tour. During the RHOBH Season 13 premiere, Garcelle shared in her confessional “I want to see who she really is. Maybe we’ll be surprised by her. You get what you give.”
And thus far, the season has shown a pleasant bond forming between the two mothers. Again, I don’t think Erika would choose to date Garcelle’s son after she worked so hard to make things good with Garcelle.
Rumors Are Just Rumors
Even though Erika seemed to proposition Oliver for a three-way during Season 12, it doesn’t mean there is any validity to the rumor about them dating. Neither Erika nor Oliver have actively spoken of one another, but the bartender did reply to the initial tweet clarifying, “This is NOT true.” Before his Instagram Story was erased, he did write, “I do have a girlfriend. She is NOT on ANY reality show! Don’t believe everything you see on the internet! #Period.”
I genuinely believe that Erika is actually too busy even to try to date a man with a young kid. Between her Las Vegas residency, filming schedule for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and staying on top of her social, she just couldn’t fit in the time for a boy toy. Even though we love the Cougar story, there just isn’t any meat to this particular tale.
