The slump is real! If you’ve been watching this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, you already know that it’s a bust. How many boring episodes did we get of a cast trip to Austin, Texas? Yes, Austin. Not even a tropical location for these ladies.
Given the state of the franchise, the cast might be trying to compensate for their lackluster on-screen time with some off-screen drama. Candiace Dillard Bassett decided to take the lead on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Candiace is convinced the RHOP cast wants her gone
Candiace wrote, “Let’s just call a spade a spade. THIS is what ‘trying to get you fired’ looks like. It’s clear as day and weak and tired.” The tweet garnered over 2,000 likes. And fans were quick to drag Candiace for her hypocrisy.
One user responded, “It’s official, you only see what everybody else does and never see how trifling you are. A waste of space!”
In her next tweet, Candiace called out Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby after one of their recent fights. “I tried not to do too much at this table. I tried not to argue,” she said. Candiace continued: “I tried to stay calm. I was being baited and bullied and played with until I was beating on the table screaming. I’m not a victim. Those are simply the facts. #RHOP,” Candiace fumed.
Surprisingly, this tweet went over well with most fans. They largely supported Candiace’s take on the fight. One fan wrote, “Y’all can say what you want, but I’m with Candiace. The line never stays in the same place when it’s about them.”
But others weren’t convinced. “Bullied by who?! I must’ve missed that. You were the one making faces, yelling and saying folks had STDs while they were having fun. But uh ok, forgot you’re the victimized adolescent of RHOP,” read one comment.
Regardless of whose side you are on, it looks like RHOP doesn’t look like it’s going to get any more interesting this season. And not even a social media beef can save it.
