The aftermath of Taylor Ann Green’s ill-advised decision to reveal Olivia Flower’s hook-up with Thomas Ravenel is ongoing still, a week after the first part of the Southern Charm reunion.
It seems that Shep Rose’s ex-girlfriend made the first mistake of thinking she would get back public support by “winning” the argument. But Kathryn Dennis coming to Olivia’s defense had to have been unexpected.
And now it’s time for round two, as Kathryn is active on social media and not known for holding back. She’s also firmly on Olivia’s team.
Kathryn confirmed that she and Olivia “didn’t know each other back then”
After Decider.com posted about the shock reveal from the reunion to Instagram, Kathryn posted in the comments.
“Some people fall for the game.. tragic,” Kathryn wrote in one post.
In the following statement, Kathryn said, “We all make mistakes, and sometimes the same ones. We didn’t know each other back then so this isn’t even a thing. And Taylor acting like she cares about me to hurt Olivia, who actually does is gross.”
Certainly, Taylor making a comparison between hooking up with Austen Kroll and Olivia’s fling with Thomas was a stretch. Kathryn and Olivia didn’t even know each other at the time, unlike Taylor and her former bestie. Hardly a situation of “friend and confidant” as Taylor suggested.
“Forgive as you would want to be forgiven,” the Southern Charm star prompted at the reunion.
Olivia responded by admitting to a hook-up with Thomas, but she had the last word.
“She’s just been sitting there chomping at the bit to use it against me,” she addressed Taylor. “Not only have you proven yourself to be a s*** friend, you’re a s*** human, too.”
After the episode aired, Kathryn took to Instagram immediately in support of her friend. She shared a picture of herself and Oliva with the caption, “We have never been closer, you did nothing wrong and don’t need to worry about being judged by me.”
