Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix had a tumultous 2023. It started with the reveal that her then-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was cheating with her friend, Rachel Leviss. But after the truth came out, the tide turned in Ariana’s favor.
She is appearing as Chicago’s Roxie Hart on Broadway for eight weeks. And she is promoting her cocktail book, Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches. But the one tie that Ariana still has to Sandoval is their shared house. Finally, Ariana can move on from their $2 million love shack.
Ariana wants to move on … for good
Ariana told PEOPLE, “I own the house. I felt like it was the last thing, and I’m just really motivated to be able to get my investment that I made into the house out so that I can make another investment and be able to fully just move on from being tied to that,” she explained.
The exes had been living in the home that they purchased together. Talk about a house haunted by betrayal, bizarre fashion, and white nail polish. The former couple renovated the space in 2021. Ariana sued Sandoval after waiting for him to get his act together for 10 months.
In the court documents, Ariana sought an “equitable allocation of the proceeds of sale,” including the “payment of debt secured by same and the costs of partition.” She also requested the inclusion of title expenses and attorneys’ fees. Ariana wanted to sell the home as a “partition by sale.” Then the proceeds would be split between her and her ex.
Ariana admitted that she is “a little bit of a control freak,” and wanted to control how things unfolded with selling their former home. “I want things a certain way when I think it’s the right time. So I’m ready. I want to own my own home,” Ariana stated.
Cheers to enjoying all the awkward moments of Ariana and Sandoval sharing their home during Season 11 of Pump Rules.
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules returns on January 30 at 8/7c on Bravo.
