Even after all these months, Vanderpump Rules fans are still learning more about Scandoval. Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss behind his girlfriend Ariana Madix’s back shook the Bravoverse.
Now Rachel has her own podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, and she dropped some tea about Tom Schwartz. When Katie Maloney found out that Schwartz knew about Sandoval’s affair the whole time, she had a word with him.
“Schwartz knew since the very beginning,” Rachel said in the second episode of her podcast. “And I finally got a call from Sandoval, he was at Schwartz’s apartment and that was a safe space for him. So Schwartz knew before we even had a conversation to talk about it and what the game plan was going to be,” she added.
Katie Maloney wasn’t pleased by Tom Schwartz’s lies
Katie told US Weekly, “I read a recap of Rachel’s podcast and she goes, ‘He knew from the beginning.’ And I texted [Schwartz] and I was like, ‘I told you to tell the truth. And now you’re getting called out and thrown under the bus,’” she added. THE LIES!
In April 2023, Schwartz claimed on Watch What Happens Live that he learned about Sandoval and Rachel’s affair in August 2022. He characterized it as a “one-night stand.” He continued, “Then it became, from my point of view, it became an emotional affair. [Then] in January [2023], he came to me and told me that he was in love with Raquel.” Obviously, someone didn’t study their timeline materials for the pop quiz.
Katie said that her ex-husband’s behaviors “make it so hard” to be friends with him. But the former couple are “on fine terms” today. I’m sure their relationship will continue to be awkward until Schwartz learns to man up.
