When Olivia Flowers and Taylor Ann Green got into it at the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion, Madison LeCroy came to Olivia’s defense.
Taylor, of course, was catching some well-deserved heat for her kiss with Olivia’s ex, Austen Kroll. The kiss itself might not have been so bad had she just admitted it. But both she and Austen denied for months that anything had happened between them.
When some viewers called out their confrontation with Taylor as “bullying,” Madison immediately clapped back. “I guess I should’ve played victim,” Madison wrote in the comments of Page Six’s January 19 Instagram post. “I forgot we don’t hold people accountable for anything these days. Enjoy y’all’s sleepover.”
“Let ’em sleep”
After Olivia responded to the post with three clapping hands emojis, other fans accused the duo of behaving like mean girls. But Madison wasn’t having any of that.
“@oliviabflowers mean girls? Isn’t that so 2004,” she fired back, referring to the Mean Girls film that came out that year.
Olivia agreed to “let ’em sleep.”
At the reunion, Taylor felt alone as she faced her castmates who were almost all critical of her hookup with her former BFF’s ex.
“I don’t think any one of us hates you,” Venita Aspen assured Taylor. “I think we’re disappointed in your behavior,” she added, sounding just like my mom.
Even Madison, who also dated Austen prior to Olivia, admitted she hasn’t completely cut Taylor out of her life. “I’m not saying you’re the worst person ever. I’m just keeping you at arm’s length,” she said.
Taylor spills Olivia’s dirty little secret
Having had enough of everyone’s finger-pointing, Taylor quoted the Bible to Olivia. “I’m just saying, Olivia, forgive as you would want to be forgiven,” she commented cryptically.
Pausing for a beat while glaring at her former friend, Olivia responded, “Go ahead and say it. I already see what you’re trying to do. You’ve been hanging this over my head, I want to see it. Say it.”
Proving that she can be a mean girl, too, Taylor dropped the bombshell that Olivia had also betrayed “a friend and a confidante.” Years ago, Olivia had a one night stand with former co-star Kathryn Dennis’ ex and father of her two children, Thomas Ravenel (ew).
Olivia explained, “I was fresh out of college, 20 years old. Dumb, drunken night, one time … hookup with T-Rav. And I wanted to take it to my grave — like, who wouldn’t?” She didn’t even know Kathryn at the time, so not the same situation at all. Taylor was just trying to deflect by digging up ancient dirt on Olivia.
Though Olivia said there’s no chance the former BFFs will ever be friends again, she did offer condolences on the death of Taylor’s brother Worth late last year. Olivia also lost her brother Conner to an accidental overdose while filming Season 9.
“I will not be friends with you,” Olivia said. “But I’m not going to make this miserable for you … We can move forward, [but] that doesn’t necessarily mean together.”
