The Season 4 finale of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is already iconic. Heather Gay earned her paycheck by confronting a cast member at the Bermuda Triangle-themed dinner. She outed newbie Monica Garcia as being involved in the Reality Von Tease account. This account was created to troll Jen Shah. But later, the account posted allegedly damaging accusations about Heather, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, and Meredith Marks.
Monica admitted that she was involved, but insisted that she only posted about Jen. Others were also involved in the account. But Heather had the “receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots, f*cking everything” to take down the new housewife. After blasting Monica, Heather ordered her to pack and leave. But what happened after Monica walked away from that table? The Hollywood Reporter has the details.

RHOSLC showrunner Lori Gordon explained that the ladies didn’t mingle after the dinner. “I just sat with Monica for an hour, in silence. Not even kidding, didn’t even talk,” Lori stated. “She just cried. I think it was a real wake-up call for her. She kept saying, ‘I’m so embarrassed.’ She flew out with me on a separate flight and some other of the crew the next morning.”
Monica’s involvement in the snark account shocked everyone. “The girls had no idea [about Monica]. I had no idea. Shed and Bravo, nobody had any idea,” Lori said. “Heather had gotten that call that last day. She was really flustered and upset. And as she started to process that out loud with me privately, it became, well, then that’s how we’re going to tell this story and the viewers should really go along for the same ride as she did.”
Lori continued, “Did we know that it was going to be huge? I think we knew that it was shocking to [the cast]. So because they were so shocked by it, it was almost inevitable that the viewers would be too, because it was just a ride. That last 24 hours was just crazy.”
The Season 4 finale was certainly a legendary episode. And kudos to Heather for that dramatic take-down.
