It’s time to head back to the pods! Love Is Blind Season 6 is right around the corner, and a fresh batch of daters are about to embark on the romantic journey of a lifetime.
Netflix just dropped the Season 6 trailer for Love is Blind, and it looks like we’re in store for another rollercoaster ride of emotions. Check out the trailer below for your first peek into the upcoming season.
The Love Is Blind Season 6 trailer teases a love triangle, or is it a love star?
Although Love is Blind has been plagued with controversial headlines about the mistreatment of its cast, a fresh crop of daters have volunteered to participate and find out if love is truly blind. Love will make you do crazy things and apparently, so does the promise of a TV appearance.
For Season 6, the production headed to Charlotte, North Carolina, and they found 30 singles willing to step into the experiment for a shot at love. Just like the past seasons, the upcoming iteration looks jam-packed full of awkwardness and heartache. That’s the price you pay when you’re trying to find true love, right?
In the trailer, we get a glimpse at how the contestants tried to get to know each other through the pods. In one scene from the trailer, one guy asks his date, “Have you ever been close to getting married?” She quickly replied, “Well, I was married.”
We also got a tease of a potential love triangle unfolding in the pods. While one contestant commented that she needed to get her “emotions in check,” another one exclaimed, “What love triangle am I in? It’s like a love star!”
Whether it’s a love triangle, a love star, or a love circle, we’re here for the mess. Who knows, maybe Netflix will have their first-ever throuple make it out of the pods?
For Season 6, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey will return as the hosts. We’re so sorry to the fans that were hoping for fresh faces. Perhaps that wish will finally come true in Season 7.
Love is Blind Season 6 drops on Netflix on February 14th. So, if you didn’t have plans for Valentine’s Day, now you do. They’re starting with a batch of six episodes, and then new episodes drop every Wednesday thereafter.
