It’s time to wave goodbye to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s one-and-done, Monica Garcia. The freshman Housewife, outed by Heather Gay for running a troll account that targeted the cast since 2021, sang her final song during part three of Salt Lake City’s explosive reunion. Now, Monica has a message for her haters.
The mother of four, who has bumped heads with veteran cast members like Lisa Barlow, took to her Instagram to share a quote by the legendary NBA great Kobe Bryant.
“Hate me or love me. It’s one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, my swagger … my hunger. … Hate it with all your heart. And hate that I’m loved for the exact same reasons.”
Monica said what she said!
Monica’s outspoken demeanor has gotten her into a bit of trouble with friends Angie Katsanevas and Meredith Marks and, ultimately, the network. But she’s now a legend In the Bravoverse. She wasn’t exactly like the rest of her co-stars — perhaps that’s what fans loved most about her.
“Hate that I’m a troll, broke, poor, single, divorced, cheated, excommunicated,” she wrote in her Instagram Story. She continued: “Hate that I’m childish, loud, was an assistant, … was a fan, played the game, got on the show, ran a snark page, went to the FBI.”
“Hate that I infiltrated a group of elitists … and hate that I’m loved for the exact same reasons.”
Since Andy Cohen and Co. are describing Monica’s departure as a “break,” it’s unclear if the one-season Housewife will return to the series that put her name in lights. Stranger things have happened in the land of glitz, glam, nastiness, and rumors. But one thing is certain: Season 4 of RHOSLC would’ve been nothing without its key player. Cheers to the girl’s weekend, Monica!
