Somehow, James Kennedy is in one of the most stable romantic relationships on Vanderpump Rules. He and Ally Lewber have been going strong since 2022, and the duo is slowly working their way up the pecking order towards being the number one couple in the group.
As their relationship gets more and more serious, everyone has been wondering when marriage will come into the picture. They’ve both admitted that they’re not quite ready for marriage, but James is already brainstorming about what his proposal is going to look like.

Previously, James admitted that a walk down the aisle isn’t in the immediate future for him and Ally. However, that hasn’t stopped him from thinking about the moment when he pops the question.
Of course, we all saw James give Rachel Leviss an over-the-top proposal in Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. It allegedly cost over $25,000, and he set up a Coachella-inspired event to pop the question. Obviously, the huge proposal wasn’t a boon for success in that relationship, but that isn’t stopping James from dreaming big for when it’s Ally’s turn.
At a premiere event for Season 11 of VPR, James told The Messenger that he and Ally are always talking about their future together. They’re not in a hurry to get married, but James has some ideas in mind on how it’s going to go down.
“We’re always talking about fun fantasies in the future, stuff like that,” he shared. “I want to do it up big and special for Ally and when we choose to do that … You know, I would marry her tonight! I’ll marry her tonight! But, like, what’s the rush? What’s the bloody rush?”
James has the right idea about not being in a rush to walk down the aisle. In the world of reality TV, marriage can be dangerous. He and Ally have a house together. They have a dog. That ring will come soon enough, and when it does, we know James is going to do it big.
