It’s unlikely that Meredith Marks be spreading any rümuhrrs or nahhstiness about Jen Shah’s huhssband, Sharrieff Shah. In fact, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s resident “trampoline with eyes,” Meredith, recently said that she’s kept in touch with Coach Shah in the wake of Jen exiting the show after Season 3 to serve out her stint in federal prison.
Meredith Marks: “It’s important for [Sharrieff] and the kids to feel some level of support”
Jen’s currently serving her prison sentence at the Texas federal prison camp, FPC Bryan, after she was sentenced last year to six-and-a-half years for running a disgusting nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme that largely targeted the elderly. Sharrieff has loyally been in Jen’s corner throughout it all.
Meredith was on the January 19 episode of Scheana Shay’s podcast, Scheananigans. Speaking about her former RHOSLC co-star’s family, Meredith expressed her desire to support Sharrieff and his and Jen’s sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar, in Jen’s absence.
Meredith shared “I text with Sharri, occasionally. I check in. Like over the holidays, I wanted to just check in. I think it’s important for him and the kids to feel some level of support. It’s got to be very difficult.”
Has Meredith been in contact with Jen?
Meredith basically decided her Season 4 castmates were abhorrent human beings just because they didn’t save her a room with a bathtub on their ill-fated Bermuda trip. But, she’s been more supportive of convicted felon Jen than is deserved.
Meredith revealed that she wrote a letter to Jen, saying, “I have not had, like, direct communication with her but I did send her a letter.” However, Meredith noted that she hasn’t received a response from Jen. “I have not heard back.”
Jen was a frequent Season 4 topic, and Meredith hasn’t totally disengaged from the Shah Squad. But, can the rest of us already? Let’s keep hope alive for a Shah-free Season 5.
