Stassi Schroeder has never been one to mince her words, and now she’s giving her opinion on the supposed forbidden kiss between Scheana Shay and Tom Schwartz.
Teased in the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 trailer, the Las Vegas smooch looks to be at the center of some upcoming drama. But could it all be misdirection? Or perhaps a way to make the season less “boring?” According to Stassi, that’s exactly what might be up…
Did Schwartz bring up a kiss with Scheana for ratings?
Speaking on SiriusXM’s The Jeff Lewis Live After Show, Stassi got real. Speaking on Scheana’s relationship with husband Brock Davies, she said she felt they were a “good solid couple.” As for Scheana and Schwartz? “That’s f*cking weird.”
Stassi continued: “It sounds like this season got a little boring, and they were like, ‘Well, what can we bring up to make it sound interesting?’ and that sounds like what it is.”
Host Jeff Lewis jumped in and pointed out how hard it would be for the cast to top Season 10. That was, of course, the season that included the Scandoval bombshell. You don’t get many reality TV pop culture moments like that one. Stassi agreed, saying the scandal “was really good for business.”
So, why did Schwartz claim he “made out” with Scheana in Las Vegas? A few theories are floating around. Former co-star Kristen Doute suggested he said it as a joke. But then, why would Scheana post on social media about it being something that was supposed to go “to the grave?”
Scheana spoke about the supposed encounter again recently, denying it was a “makeout” session. Smart money is on them sharing a small peck that didn’t lead to anything more substantial. A non-story, if so. But it’s a great way to drum up media attention for the new season.
