After a little time to recollect and regroup, Kory Keefer is making further statements on his split from Sam Feher. The former couple met while filming Summer House Season 7. They put the relationship label on it after being in a seven month, long-distance situationship. Sadly, Sam split from her former co-star on January 16.
Both have spoken well of each other since then, but clearly Kory’s actions on Winter House Season 3 were too damaging to continue onward. And now, the Core24 gym VP is giving more details on their split.
Why did Sam Feher split from Kory Keefer?
At the time, Kory made the following statement, “Navigating any relationship is difficult and doing it on TV and in the public eye is next level. But I take full responsibility for how I acted on Winter House. It kills me to look back and see how my actions hurt Sam. I’m so sorry for that. I made this winter very, very difficult for her.”
Flirting with not one, but two housemates had to have been hard to watch for Sam. Indeed, Kory admitted they were “good up until” watching Winter House and his interactions with Malia White and Jordan Emanuel were very clear.
“It sucks seeing some of the stuff when you’re doing stupid things or flirting with girls, and saying stuff,” Kory said on the Real Moms of Bravo podcast on January 22. “I guess I didn’t prepare her for everything that happened.”
“I don’t know if I’d be able to watch it back with her doing that with a guy. It would’ve been really tough,” he admitted.
Sam and Kory started “fighting” over what was going on onscreen. And it was all news to her.
“We didn’t cheat on each other, but it felt like I did something really bad and we got over it, [but] now the public eye’s in it and so her friends, I’m sure, are hitting her up being like, ‘Why are you with this piece of sh*t? He’s such a douchebag. He’s doing this, he’s with these girls,’” Kory said.
“It wasn’t great and that wasn’t why we broke up,” the Bravolebrity added, “but that definitely put extra stress on it and it made things really difficult this winter.”
Summer House Season 8 is due to premiere on February 22.
