What is life without Mauricio Umansky? Kyle Richards hardly knows such a thing. Unfortunately, she might have to learn to face that reality sooner rather than later.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been dodging speculation about her marriage left and right. She has admitted to being in a rough spot with Mo, but the fact that she’s been buddy-buddy with Morgan Wade hasn’t made the situation any clearer for everyone watching.
Kyle recently sat down with Jeff Lewis on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, and opened up about her marriage woes. There’s just something about Jeff that gets people talking, and Kyle took a minute to wax poetic about how she doesn’t know what life is without her Mauricio.
Change is hard for Kyle and Mauricio
Kyle and Mauricio first tied the knot back in January 1996. They’ve been together for 28 years. They’ve raised kids together and have hustled their way through Beverly Hills. Now that they’re dealing with this separation, Kyle admitted doesn’t know how to navigate it.
“We’ve been together, I mean, I’ve been married almost my entire adult life and like, I don’t even know what life is without being with Mauricio,” she explained.
Kyle has been on RHOBH long enough to know that she couldn’t hide her marriage troubles from the cameras for long. Still, she said that the pressure from her reality TV career has made their marriage issues even more difficult. It turns out that Real Housewives is all fun and games until you’re the one in the hot seat.
Kyle explained, “It’s hard, and it’s painful, and it’s scary, and I’m having to answer to these women who I don’t know anything about their person.”
“I have no idea what they do when they’re not on camera. I have no clue, but they want to know what’s happening in my bedroom,” she continued.
Kyle said that the whole situation has felt “unfair,” and she’s still trying to wrap her head around all the changes in her life. Whether or not she and Mauricio will end up getting a divorce is still up in the air. But, what we do know is that Kyle and her entire family are in therapy. Thank goodness.
