Real Housewives of Miami star Dr. Nicole Martin has had trouble with two co-stars from the jump. Besties Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton seemed to have it in for the newbie when she came aboard in Season 4. And nothing Nicole does ever sits right with this duo.
During Season 6, Nicole hosted a Mamacita brunch, which spiraled into chaos. Marysol and Alexia had a meltdown when they discovered that former RHOM cast member Ana Quincoces was invited. Of course, they blamed Nicole, but Adriana de Moura invited Ana. All because Adriana wanted to expose some rumors about Alexia’s living situation.
Nicole claimed that she received a private apology from Adriana. Now Nicole is tossing a shade grenade back at Alexia. Decider has the details.
Nicole refuses to give Alexia any power over her
“It’s been three years of them trying to villainize and just make me out to be the bad guy and at some point in time you get tired,” Nicole explained. “So if it’s easier for them to hate me — if hating me makes them feel better about themselves, then by all means, do what you need to do to feel good about yourself.”
While the reason for Alexia and Marysol coming after Nicole is up for debate, Adriana believes it could be jealousy. “At this point, it just seems like they hate me for the sake of hating me,” Nicole said. “Jealousy could be one theory.”
Nicole dismissed Alexia’s belief that she doesn’t like Alexia because she reminds Nicole of her partner, Anthony Lopez. That statement is bizarre and makes zero sense.
“I don’t care enough to hate either one of them, to be honest. I feel like I’ve done a lot of self-work,” Nicole explained. “I’ve gone to a lot of therapy and I just don’t let someone live rent-free in my head like that. So I think in true Alexia fashion she’s giving herself way too much importance.” Bloop!
