Phaedra Parks is certainly busy, and booked, lately. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta peach is currently starring in Married to Medicine. When Phaedra first appeared on Season 3 of RHOA, she was married to Apollo Nida, and they were expecting their first child. After a tense split, Apollo landed in jail for committing fraud. He is now out of prison and is remarried.
Meanwhile, Phaedra is sowing the seeds of chaos in Season 2 of Peacock’s The Traitors. This show allows her the chance to showcase her devious side. Just ask Kandi Burruss about Phaedra’s ability to lie. I’m sure she remembers.
Phaedra feels good about co-parenting with Apollo
During a recent appearance on the Watch What Happens Live After Show, Phaedra fielded a viewer question about her relationship with her ex-husband. “How is co-parenting with Apollo going? And have you met his new wife?” the fan asked.
“Co-parenting is going great,” Phaedra said. While their two sons “most definitely” reside with Phaedra full-time, Apollo does spend time with his kids “for weekends.” Phaedra added, “He likes to take them.”
And as for meeting the new Mrs. Nida? “I’ve definitely seen her. We don’t really chat,” Phaedra said with a shady smile. “You’ve seen her. That’s your report?” host Andy Cohen asked.
Fellow WWHL guest Candiace Dillard Bassett jumped into the conversation. “Like you wave at her on the porch?” she asked. “Well, I don’t wave. But I’ve seen her,” Phaedra replied.
Even Andy was stunned by the shade level. As long as Phaedra and Apollo can peacefully co-parent their two sons, that’s all that matters. Maybe Apollo’s new wife will get a friendly wave in the future. Or maybe not.
